Highlands Surgery Center is located in Issaquah on the main floor of the Proliance Highlands Medical Center building.
REMINDERS
Please read through the Highlands Surgery Center brochure prior to surgery.
You should take your essential, regularly scheduled medications with a small sip of water on the morning of surgery, unless otherwise directed.
Do not have anything to eat or drink 8 hours prior to your surgery check-in time (this includes water, gum, mints, etc.).
Do not wear make-up, nail polish, body lotion, perfumes/colognes or hair products.
Leave all valuables at home.
Please make arrangements for a responsible adult to take you home after your surgery; you will not be allowed to leave alone or drive yourself home.
THINGS TO BRING TO SURGERY
Photo ID.
Insurance card.
Form of payment if you have been notified of a co-pay, deductible, etc.
Copy of Advanced Directive (if applicable).
List of current medications and allergies.
Case for glasses, contacts, dentures as needed.
Crutches, sling, brace, boot, ice machine, etc.
Inhaler if you have asthma.
CPAP machine and mask if you have sleep apnea.
Insulin if you have diabetes.
A magazine, book, etc. to help you stay relaxed. We make every attempt to stay on schedule, but sometimes delays are unavoidable.
